Description

ManpowerGroup, on behalf of its client, a well-known City Hotel in Athens, is in search of a Reservations Manager, to join the hotel’s team in the southern suburbs of Attica region.

Responsibilities:
The job holder will act as the “face" of the hotel, the point of contact, and will play an important role to ensure the business runs smoothly, efficiently, but also visitors receive a heartwarming welcome.

More specifically she/he will:
Oversee and monitor all aspects of hotel’s reservations procedures
Ensure that guests receive the best service timely and accurately
Manage bookings and Online Travel Agencies (Booking, Expedia, TripAdvisor etc.)
Train, supervise and support the team, including receptionists and grooms
Schedule the shifts and monthly/weekly programs of the staff
Handle complaints and specific customers’ requests
Handle guests’ reviews and feedback and manage upselling campaigns
Prepare and monitor pricing
Collaborate closely with the management team and the CRM department
Ensure hotel’s policies and security requirements are met

Requirements:
Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Front Office Manager / Reservations Manager
Bachelor in Tourism and Hospitality
Previous relevant experience in a City Hotel will be highly preferred
Fluent in English (oral and written)
Additional foreign languages will be appreciated
Excellent working knowledge of Windows, MS Office
Familiarity with Online Travel Agencies (OTAs)
Very good knowledge of hotel management systems Oracle Suite8-Fidelio or Opera
Strong communication and people skills
Positive personality, adaptability and team spirit
Good organizational and multitasking abilities
Problem-solving skills
