We are currently looking for an Internal Auditor to join us based from our Sheffield office. The role gives the successful applicant a great opportunity to develop within their role as well as being exposed to a number of different areas of the business. There will be a chance for occasional travel with the role covering EMEA. We need someone who is great at building relationships as you will work with a number of departments on a daily basis.

The role facilitates and promotes Insights accreditations for Quality, Environmental and Information Security management systems across EMEA, working closely with Business Transformation management to maintain and raise awareness of our certifications across the business. They are responsible for the review, development and performance of internal auditing procedures, preparing internal audit reports reflecting the results of the work performed including coverage of functional and operating units, focusing on financial and operational processes.

Main duties will include:

  • Conducting routine internal audits and compliance checks across EMEA
  • To act as the nominated management system representative, embedding the fundamental concepts of a quality management system
  • Leading audits and manage audit teams including multidisciplinary audits by planning, conducting, reporting and following up on quality management system audits to establish conformity with accreditation requirements
  • Ensuring compliance with management system standards and external certifications
  • Supervising and assisting with the maintenance of quality records including conducting reviews and approval of quality documentation
  • Advising on possible improvements to the management systems by interpreting, assimilating and utilising a variety of data from multiple sources
  • Engaging in continuous knowledge development regarding sector’s rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques and performance standards.
  • Conducting workshops on company standards
    Skills required:

  • Knowledge of Quality, Environmental and Information Security standards

  • Demonstrable understanding of analysing business process and procedures to improve operational excellence and adherence to ISO 9001, 14001, 20001 / 27001 standards
  • Experience of working within a high performing team within a fast-paced, target driven environment
  • Extremely well-organised and analytical with an ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to build and establish cooperative working relationships
