Where in the world of OVO will I be working?

Working as part of the Reward team, within the wider People function, this role plays a key part in providing a fantastic people experience through our benefits and pensions offering. This is an exciting opportunity if you're passionate about total reward and maximizing the value that benefits and pensions can add for our people.

Internally and externally curious, this role will help bring in new insights and provide expert assistance to the different parts of the business and ensure that our benefits and pensions offering helps build an exceptional & progressive experience for our people where it matters the most.

What will I be doing?

Reporting to our Senior Reward Partner - Pensions and Benefits, you will be the "hands on" owner of the benefits and pensions administration processes for different areas of the business. Supported by a Benefits & Pensions coordinator, you will be instrumental in running the day to day of our benefits and pensions offering, which via our online portal includes flexible benefits, pensions auto-enrolment, total reward statements, a small final salary pension scheme and supporting the senior reward partner to manage our external providers on product and service delivery.

You willl seek excellence in our benefits and pensions experience and maximize engagement with our offering through great service within the People team and the rest of the business community including with senior partners.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Being responsible for the processing and coordination of the monthly cycle of flexible benefits
  • Coach and support our Benefits coordinator in delivering smooth administration and operation of our various benefits and pension schemes.
  • Employee data uploads, benefit windows, pensions auto-enrolment, final salary (DB) pension scheme, collaborating closely with external providers and reconciliation of selections and provider invoices.
  • Contributing to the shaping of an annual calendar including regular and varied educational comms campaigns and road shows on benefits and pensions.
  • Ensuring the employee journey is clear and engaging, to encourage regular and meaningful participation with flexible benefits across our communities.
  • Drawing insights from our benefits and pensions data you will help develop impactful people solutions and recommendations for improvement and greater efficiency.
  • Engaging with Darwin and our external providers to ensure that we are offering the best possible experience of each benefit and pension to our people.
  • Improving & mapping our benefits processes, ensuring seamless links between different stakeholders in people & payroll teams..
  • Resolving, troubleshooting, and to raise as required, any processing anomalies or issues by triaging these between Reward, People teams, Payroll and Darwin or our external providers.
  • Helping to build our employer brand as a progressive, inclusive employer of choice.
  • Supervising budget spend for Reward and supporting our Benefits Coordinator as required in raising Pos and processing invoices.
  • Contributing as needed to other tactical and strategic People projects.
