Cyber Prevent is a part of the Vodafone Cyber function. Its purpose is to prevent cyber incidents so that Vodafone and it’s customers can achieve more. This is achieved through; building, running and enhancing Vodafone’s central tooling to prevent cyber incidents; and delivering global strategic programmes that deliver new cyber capabilities. Cyber Prevent aspires to be a pioneering global team, that innovates, experiments and learns fast. Within Cyber Prevent, the Cyber Prevent Governance Manager/PMO Lead will be accountable for providing the management and governance processes that bind the Cyber Prevent organisation together. These include goal setting & budget planning and performance reviews; in year financial management; resource management; and reporting. These services will be delivered through the Cyber Prevent Governance team.

The Cyber Prevent Governance Manager/PMO Lead will own and lead the Cyber Investment Review board (IRB) meetings, processes, and preparation, to enable data led decision making. They will also support the Head of Cyber Prevent with the co-ordination of Cyber Prevent organisational transformation activities. And associated organisational changes.

Job Responsibility:

  • Line management of the Cyber Prevent Governance team.
  • Development of the Cyber Prevent Governance team.
  • Cyber Prevent goal setting & budget planning and in year performance reviews. Managing the Cyber Prevent submissions to the required Vodafone budgeting cycles.
  • Ownership of the Cyber Investment Review board (IRB) meetings and associated documents and processes.
  • In year financial management of Cyber Prevent CAPEX and OPEX budgets.
  • Cyber Prevent resource management and recruitment.
  • Supporting Cyber Prevent domain leaders with raising and management of purchase orders.
  • Weekly and Monthly reporting.
  • Co-ordination of Cyber Prevent organisational transformation activities. And any associated organisational changes.
  • Cyber Prevent All Hands Call management.
  • Definition and implementation of the Cyber Prevent governance & business management model.
  • Continuous improvement of Cyber Prevent governance delivery ( including alignment with business management best practices, processes, and the Vodafone ways of working).
  • Custodian for the Cyber Prevent governance & business management service catalogue and process library.
  • Ownership of Cyber Prevent risk register and active management of actions identified by audit.
  • Expertise of governance or business management service delivery.
  • Business planning experience (Medium to long range).
  • Leading, and creating coaching and learning environments.
  • Creating matrixed teams.
  • Communication and collaboration across a complex & dynamic, environment will be crucial.
  • Ability to influence a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to think strategically, develop concepts, and implement them.
  • Defining and implementing operational governance processes.
  • The ability to prioritise and adapt in a fast paced environment.
  • Experience in using process improvement approaches like Lean, 6Sigma, etc.
  • Experience working within an Agile (SAFe) environment.
