We are looking for a Data Scientist (Natural Language Processing) to join the AI team at Exclaimer. We need someone that is a natural problem solver, who likes to be challenged, and has the drive to go out of their comfort zone. We expect you to be resourceful and committed to quality, a good communicator, and a team player. You will work on the design, development, and maintenance of reliable, efficient, and scalable AI services to support our solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Explore, clean and transform large datasets of unstructured and textual data;
- Analyze complex problems and recommend adequate solutions according to the identified requirements;
- Apply, combine and fine tune different Natural Language Processing techniques to achieve the defined goals;
- Design, implement and maintain scalable and performant architectures to support the idealized solutions.
- Work closely with the engineering and product teams to deliver technically robust and business aligned solutions to production.
- Work well in a modern agile software engineering environment, with source code control, release cycles, extensive testing, and continuous deployment.
Skills Knowledge and Expertise:
- BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related fields.
- Experience with software development and prototyping (Python).
- Knowledge of NLP pipelines (e.g. Tokenization, Stemming, POS Tagging, Parsing, NER, etc).
- Knowledge of NLP libraries (e.g. spaCy, NLTK, Gensim, etc).
- Knowledge of Machine Learning algorithms (Neural Networks, SVM, Markov Models, Decision Trees, etc).
- Familiarity with NLP tasks (e.g. Information Retrieval, Recommender Systems, Topic Modeling, Summarization, etc).
- Familiarity with Big Data frameworks (e.g. Hadoop, Spark, etc).
- Familiarity with agile development and continuous delivery practices.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
