Responsibilities

As a Global Black Belt in Cloud Business Development you are the go-to person to help find, unlock and mature opportunities across new and existing clients for Logicalis’ global portfolio of cloud solutions. You will spearhead the initial pursuit of customer wins as our solutions mature towards global general availability, you will then operate alongside our regional sales teams to support them in our largest most complex opportunities. You will be combining commercial business development acumen to uncover digital transformation opportunities.

Your mission is to help our customers achieve the digital transformation that they require to remain relevant, competitive, and agile through the adoption of cloud computing.

As an individual we expect you to quickly become the customers trusted adviser, building relevant, senior relationships to influence business and technology decision makers. You will bring the knowledge and experience to help customers work through the doubts, questions and obstacles that can disrupt and delay decisions related to cloud deployment projects.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Azure platform including IaaS and PaaS based environments as well as a strong understanding of the Microsoft Azure Cloud Adoption Framework
  • Experience of successfully selling to senior decision makers by linking the value of the solution to the customer’s business objectives
  • Ability to work closely with sales colleagues to identify and qualify opportunities, map stakeholders, communicate with senior decision makers, engage, and build strong relationships with Microsoft personnel, assist with the negotiation and closing plans for large sized deals
  • Lead high-level technical sessions to drive solution discussions

Desirable

  • Knowledge and awareness of other public cloud providers such as AWS and GCP
  • Willingness to travel throughout UK, Ireland, Channel Islands or United States
  • Experience of Microsoft security solutions
  • Established network with Microsoft
  • Understanding and knowledge of modern Managed Services Ability to use tools to help customers build their cloud business case for example, Azure Pricing Calculator, Azure ROI Tool, and Azure TCO Tool
  • Understanding of relevant Azure related Microsoft incentive programs such as ECIF, AMMP and experience of successfully securing funding to accelerate customer projects
