Short Job Description:
The Junior Data Analyst will be responsible for supporting on any data-related tasks, including but not limited to data processing, upload and its management, to support a range of business intelligence and sales enablement platforms and tools.
- Take ownership of the data upload process, querying data not received on time and in full, uploading and verifying such loads to ensure data accuracy. - Maintain the key databases on the direct and indirect sales and customer side, including identifier data, data change requests received and assignments among others. - Liaise with the internal team on data related queries, as necessary. - Provide the team with a report & update on related activities through the running and sharing of various reports on a monthly or ad hoc basis. - Address any business intelligence tool access issues by coordinating access requests to the various relevant parties.
- Provide regular progress reports to create visibility on processes, as custodian of the master data. - Own and run the Excel-based data upload templates. - Take on any additional, ad hoc requests to streamline processes and support the activities through the use of data, as necessary.
Requirements:
Must have a 3 year tertiary qualification
2 - years of experience in a similar role
Strong excel skills
IT minded would be advantageous
Knowledge of IRESS API and Bloomberg API advantageous.
Good Excel + VBA + Google sheets experience
