Your Mission

Are you an experienced Team Manager familiar with R&D environment, passionate about cutting-edge technology, communication, organization and leading people towards success?

Your role

  • Conduct 1:1’s with team members;
  • Act as a point of escalation for team issues, escalate issues that can’t be solved within the team;
  • Recruit, interview, and onboard new team members;
  • Report on individual strengths and weaknesses;
  • Design and implement individual training plans for team members;
  • Design and implement individual career path for team members;
    Inter-Team Goals
  • Cultivate cross team/site coordination, keep all connected as one team;
  • Develop strong relationships between teams and sites;
  • Maintain strong communications between team leaders and Management;
    Intra-Team Goals
  • Keep the pulse of the team: who is happy, productive, performing. Know each member’s strengths and motivations;
  • Exemplify and cultivate positive culture traits and ensure the implementation of Capgemini's values.
  • Provide support and confidence to team members;
  • Cultivate a very open communication environment. Criticism is welcome and appreciated;
  • Maintain a culture of independence amongst team members whilst offering advice when appropriate.

Perfil:

  • Demonstrable experience in coaching, leadership skills or team management;
  • Demonstrable experience in understanding and solving escalations, team issues or other management related scenarios;
  • Maintain trust and respect from the team and management;
  • Availability to travel between sites (inside Portugal);
  • Fluency in English mandatory;
  • Fluency in Portuguese desirable.
