Your contribution to something big:
Within Bosch Thermotecnology you will be the owner of the Life-Cycle Assessments tool and the contact person for all our business units. For that you will:
- Define and continuously develop the LCA strategy for Bosch Thermotechnology, including the definition of the calculation standard, concept and process to systematically evaluate the environmental footprint of the product portfolio;
- Mange the sub-project "LCA" within our Sustainability project, evaluate the LCA results and report in the Sustainability Committee;
- Coordinate the LCA calculations in close cooperation with development, product management, manufacturing, logistics and sales teams;
- Derive solutions to reduce the environmental footprint of the product portfolio;
- Follow-up of regulatory framework and customer expectations on LCA;
- Cooperate with other Bosch divisions and Bosch-external expert networks.
Qualifications:
What distinguishes you:
- Degree in the field of environmental (engineering) sciences, process engineering or comparable, with focus or specialization on LCA;
- Experience in the calculation of product life cycle assessments and the modelling of processes;
- Knowledge of LCA software (e.g. Gabi, Umberto) and existing standards;
- Experience in environmental management or product development is an advantage;
- Analytical, structured and proactive way of working;
- Very good English-speaking skills.
