Working pattern: Varied shifts including mornings; afternoons; evenings and weekends - all will be discussed at interview.

Previous supervisory experience, ideally within retail together with strong leadership skills; attention to detail and a positive attitude are essential for this role.

People & Culture Administrator
As our P&C Supervisor you will provide administration support to the People & Culture Function.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their HR experience within a fast paced support environment.

Key Responsibilities may include;
Recruitment

  • Recruitment using the online recruitment system
  • Overall responsibility for advertising and filling vacancies both internally and externally
  • Conduct the interview process to ensure compliance with employment legislation
  • Ensure that induction paper work is complete

Training:

  • Be a source of P&C knowledge in store
  • In conjunction with the store management, ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, in particular sales procedures and refund procedures
  • Assist the Store Manager with P&C updates

People:

  • Assist the Store Manager with regular training and updates
  • Ensure company standards regarding hygiene, grooming and appearance
  • React to the changing requirements of the business throughout the day
  • In conjunction with the Store Manager and mangers monitor staff attendance and timekeeping
  • Liaise with managers for overtime planning and collation of staff hours for completion by payroll

Operating Standards:

  • Ensure compliance to Employment Legislation such as Right to Work, Contracts of Employment and Equal Opportunities
  • Adhere to all company policy and procedure and assist managers with their implementation
  • Ensure all daily, weekly and period Payroll and Time and Attendance functions are carried out in line with company policy and procedures
  • Ensure all absence information is up to date and reports are generated daily/weekly
  • Ensure company reference procedure is adhered to for all new employees
  • Ensuring that all Personnel File documentation is completed and up to date and the electronic tracker system is maintained
  • Assist with the disciplinary and grievance process

Environment, Health & Safety:

  • Assist the management team in ensuring that all methods of work are carried out according to EHS policy
  • Be alert to any potential Hazards within the department and the store
  • Ensure that staff place equipment to ensure safety of all staff and customers

Security:

  • Be fully aware of company policy regarding customer or staff theft and follow the appropriate procedures
  • Ensure that all petty cash in P&C is correctly accounted for
  • Maintain Computer security
  • Comply with company procedures on staff purchase procedure and ensure others do as well
