This position will report directly to the Regional Finance Director and will help to keep updated the developments and initiatives for the team agenda under its responsibility.What you will be doingReview, Analyze, support hotel accountantsaccounting records according to USALI approved standards.Follow-up to country accountants in control of the fix expenses, procedures and controls by month.Supports compliance,information delivery to the external and internal audits.Follow-up, revision to the accountants for the monthly integration of the balance accounts.Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practicesAssist with other financials projects as neededAccomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.Supports the Country Finance Director in reporting that must comply with the Global Finance guidelines.Support for the operation to develop, and compliance by supervising and assisting the country accountants.Responsible for the accounting record and reconciliation of intercompany transactions in the country of Panama.What you need for the role2+ years of General AccountingHigh school diploma required, college courses in accounting preferredMust have strong work ethicsMust be well organized and a self-starterMust be able to follow standard filing proceduresDetail-oriented, professional attitude, reliableProficient in Excel, Powerpoint, and WordPossess strong organizational and time management skillsStrong problem-solving skills, basic accounting principles knowledge, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis and multi-tasking skillsThorough knowledge of applicable accounts payable/general ledger systems and procedures, financial chart of accounts and corporate proceduresAbility to communicate effectively verbally and in writingAbility to interact with employees and vendors in a professional mannerAbility to speak and write English fluently.Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high volume environment with an emphasis on accuracy and timelinessAbility to perform mathematical computations such as percentages, fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division quickly and accuratelyLow and High Skill Wellness DeliveryStaff who are wellness-focused and have a passion themselves (or hold a qualification) can deliver a wellness activity in the location for our Luna Loyalty Program.
