The Global Betting Platform (‘gbp') is Flutter's flagship proprietary sports betting platform and is being used by multiple Brands across the Group to power delivery of new Sports betting features at pace. Today the gbp product enables the generate of 33% of the total Flutter Group Sportsbook online revenue and has around 1.7m active customers across the multiple brands transacting on it.

The Role...

The Head of gbp will lead the team accountable for providing the engineering vision and direction for a globally shared platform providing betting product for our various group divisions to consume.

The gbp team will supply the required level of oversight, support and guidance to enable our brands adopt and evolve this platform in the most effective manner.

For those brands that have adopted the gbp the team will provide engineering and architectural alignment for their platform.

What You'll be Doing...

  • Set the engineering, architectural and operational vision for the Global Betting Platform (“gbp”)
  • Ensure the platform evolves with a sound architectural framework, and is in line with overall group strategic architecture constructs
  • Ensure the processes and tools are defined, agreed and maintained for sharing codebases to support ongoing platform development from contributors across the group
  • Support existing brands as they continue to develop the gbp platform and avail of its capabilities within their own environments
  • Provides the right level of assistance for divisions to ensure they have the right controls, APIs and resources in place to adopt the platform (or components of it)
  • Work with brands to understand their operational requirements and set the strategy for optimal operation of the gbp
  • Set the strategy with the brands for continuous testing and deployment of platform developments
  • Provide leadership for the Global Betting Platform team
