• Our client in the chemical industry has an EE opportunity available for a Logistics Manager to be based in the Eastern Suburbs of Johannesburg.
• Requirements:

• University/Post Graduate Degree in Supply Chain or Logistics
• 10 years’ + experience in a senior Supply Chain leadership role
• Experience with interpreting strategy and policy in order to set and deliver against objectives.
• Must have experience in overseeing the full supply chain: planning, procurement, 3rd party logistics, shipping etc.

KPAs:

• Manage strategic customer and customer relationships.
• Support the overall organisational strategy by developing and delivering operational plans and acceptable outcomes for supply chain across the business.
• Identify and manage stakeholders to top management level, establishing needs/issues/concerns and responding to these in the required manner.
• Identify the capabilities needed to meet the current and emerging business needs of supply chain.
• Take overall responsibility for designing, developing and delivering the organisation's supplier management strategy.
• Manage the delivery of the business’s procurement strategy.
