KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Perform daily safety and maintenance checks on vehicle;
  • Planned trip logistics and obtained necessary documents, to transport goods, company documents and personnel as requested;
  • Endure adherence to safety requirements as per Company policies and procedures;
  • Follow all applicable traffic laws;
  • Assist in loading and offloading of parts and components from the vehicle;
  • Ensure that all documents are signed as received at sites and returned to dispatch for filing;
  • Ensure daily duties are completed timeously;
  • When need be assist with boat cleaning before a handover;

  • Housekeeping of vehicle.
    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum:

  • NQF Level 2 (Grade 10)

  • Valid Code 10 driver’s license with no endorsements;
  • Valid PDP;
  • Sober habits with no criminal record.
  • Ideal: NQF Level 4 (Grade 12)
  • Experience: At least 2-3 years relevant experience
  • Excellent timekeeping and attendance record;
  • Advantageous, familiar with stock items and parts.
  • Able to work weekends and overtime;

  • Have a thorough understanding of the quality condition within the company;
    COMPETENCIES:

  • Good planning and communication skills, both verbal and written;

  • Able to work under pressure to meet desired outcomes;
  • Willingness to learn sailing basics;
  • Have basic boat line knowledge;
  • The ability to handle conflicting interests and to help solve them.
