Job Description What's The Role?The Senior Accounting Analyst role is a critical role that will be focused on the day to day accounting and financial functions located in the Panama Operations Center. Become a super user for the new global LLA ERP system and assist with the implementation of the new system and development of efficient accounting processes. The Senior Accounting Analyst will be instrumental in identifying process automation opportunities. Works closely and will partner with all levels of the business to deliver high quality accounting and reporting service and analysis to business units.
Identifies specific issues to the accountants. preparing reconciliations and assist them. Also required bank reconciliations and closing journal entries.Supervises and reviews the preparation of certain analyses supporting horizontal processes and facilitating review of transaction processing.Coordinate and assist in the preparation and detailed review of internal reports.Propose improves the procedures, work processes and systems.Researches specific technical accounting issues.Supervises and reviews that the FA and PA sub ledgers follow the accounting Policy. Preferred education/ qualifications: Bachelor level, Finance or Accounting degree.Knowledge & Experience: Bachelors degree in a Business, Finance or Accounting4 years or more progressive Accounting Experience (experience in Public Accounting preferred) Shared Service or related field.
Excellent English in both verbal and written form; Spanish desirable but not essential.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong analytical skills, the ability to handle multiple projects at once.
