Process Technician
Education
- Technical school bachelor or combination of high school with 2 years of sheet metal operation experience
Work Experience
- 2 years in Metal fabrication with High School only
Additional Skills
General Requirements
- Ability to identify engineering drawings/specifications problems
- Proven experience of DMAIC methodology use. Yellow belt certification.
- Proven experience of lean manufacturing tools use. Certification or classes.
- Ability to perform basic manufacturing reports in English
- Demonstrates methodic problem analysis and solving skills
- Ability to create manufacturing instructions and establish basic process specifications based on standard work with mínimal guidance.
- Normally receives no instruction on routine work, general instructions on new assignments
- Works on assignments that are moderately complex in nature where judgement is required in resolving problems and making routine recommendations
- Ability to interact with people from internal departments to make a group decision on process issues (Projects, PPMS, RCA, Etc.)
