Functions/responsabilities:
Roles and responsibilities:
A leading Yacht Group in UAE, Dubai is looking for a Boat captain.
Must have boat license up to 12 meters.
Safe navigation and operation (day & night) of the boat.
Able to understand and use electronic equipment’s of the Boat such as Raymarine, Garmin, Radio.
Compute positions, set courses and determine speeds using charts, compasses, sextants, area plotting sheets and knowledge of local conditions.
Dock and undock boat, sometimes navigating through tight spaces.
Plan roots and itineraries based on weather conditions to keep boat, and everybody on boat safe.
Maintain boat Inspection Logbook prior and after each trip to ensure efficient and safe operation of yacht and equipment’s.
Taking control of boat repairs and maintenance site visits.
Maintain weekly and monthly reports to the management about all onboard equipment, daily activities, boat positions and movements, ports of call, weather conditions, passenger status and pollution control efforts.
Ensure that the boat is well organized, clean and neat always.
Direct supervisor for crew.
Manage more than one boat for same owner.
Using various ropes, knots.

Must have boat license up to 12 meters.
Safe navigation and operation (day & night) of the boat.
Able to understand and use electronic equipment’s of the Boat such as Raymarine, Garmin, Radio.
