Role Purpose

Provide specialist writing, language advisory and editing services in a digital content capacity, managing and ensuring adherence to professional language standards and editing guidelines.
Requirements

Experience

  • 3-5 years relevant experience in copywriting or related field (essential)
  • Experience in digital contentment management of:

  • Optimisation for SEO
  • Tracking of links
  • Paid adverts
  • Web content updates
  • Relevant degree in English, Journalism or Linguistics or Marketing or Communication
  • Professional command of the English language
  • Advanced computer skills
  • The ability to write clear, compelling, original copy
  • Knowledge of the Financial Services Industry
  • Knowledge of content development
  • Good understanding of communication functions and relevant best practices
  • A good understanding of new developments in writing
    Duties & Responsibilities
  • Take ownership, manage, and drive the digital content and copy relating to the brand and products on the various digital platforms.
  • Generate, manage, and optimise content according to SEO.
  • Track and use various management systems to analyze digital platform traffic and users engagement metrics, and report on initiatives to service improvement on content engagement.
  • Create and maintain a digital content roadmap that schedules all aspects of the creation and delivery of content throughout the year.
  • Develop and implement language guidelines for the communication functions.
  • Liaise with stakeholders in order to obtain understanding of language and editing requirements.
  • Provide editing, and language services for communication within agreed timelines.
  • Ensure professional Plain Language standards are maintained, by providing a reviewing function to the communications team for all communications on behalf of key stakeholders.
  • Develop and create awareness of frameworks for writing when required.
  • Create internal communications for publications and electronic communications, as well as, initiatives for promoting business and project writing.
