Euc Engineer

An exciting new opportunity for an Endpoint Management specialist in a well known organisation
EUC Engineer 16-month Fixed Term contract vacancy in Birmingham
Up to £42,071 per annum, 32 days annual leave, hybrid working and other generous benefits
Hays Technology are working in partnership with a large public sector organisation in Birmingham to recruit an EUC Engineer on a fixed term contact basis.
Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Administration of Microsoft Endpoint Manager.
• Configuration of MAM, MDM and Azure Conditional Access policies.
• Administration of Active Directory including creating Group Policies.
• Security hardening of endpoints and ensuring Cyber Essentials compliance
• Application packaging and deployment.
• Patch Management of Operating Systems and 3rd party software.
• Managing support tickets that been escalated to System Application Team to ensure service issues are resolved in a timely fashion.
• Providing 3rd line support on all commonly used software and hardware.
• Monitoring and proactive remediation of system issues.
• Continue service improvement and keeping abreast of new technologies.
• Advance experience with MEM (Intune) and MEMCM (formerly SCCM).
• Experience in Active Directory and Azure AD.
• Expert knowledge of Windows 10, iOS, Android, MacOS.
• Experience within a complex desktop and server support environment.
• PowerShell scripting skills.
• Experience of change management process (ITIL).
• Creating documentation of a high standard.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and a good standard of written and verbal communication.

• JAMF Pro and JAMF Connect.
• Samsung Knox.
• Office 365.
• Apple School Manager / Apple Business Manager.
• Relevant professional qualifications.
