We are looking for passionate, creative, and analytical engineers who love machine learning, data analytics, and shipping technology with agility at massive scale. For this position, we are hiring machine learning and data engineers to work on the data engineering and mining team of GitHub Copilot.
Responsibilities:
- Build highly scalable and secure data pipelines covering model training and data analysis
- Generate new insights and business opportunities from telemetry data analysis
- Collaborate closely with applied scientists and engineers in the team
Develop a hands-on understanding of other industry-leading technologies - Demonstrate your work to stakeholders to clarify the value of your work and collaborations
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications
- B.Sc. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related disciplines
- Good understanding of computer science algorithms and data structures
- Strong problem solving and coding skills using Python, C#, C++, or Java
Preferred Qualifications
- Passion for data science, machine learning and/or natural language processing
- Knowledge of large-scale data analytics engines like Spark and Azure Synapse is a big plus
- Experience in machine learning or natural language processing is a big plus
- Experience in Semantic Parsing, NL2Code, Static Code Analysis or Responsible AI is a plus
- Familiarity with MLOps solutions like Azure Machine Learning is a plus
- Knowledge of Cloud platforms (especially Azure) is a plus
