Our business is seeking a Social Media Intern who is passion-driven, creative and has an analytical mindset across social media platforms. The Internship Programme is with compensation and will run at a maximum engagement of (6) months with the end goal of filling up a full-time position or a permanent role as a Social Media Specialist.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the social media calendar
  • Brainstorm social media campaign ideas
  • Manage social media accounts by creating post content, writing engaging captions, respond to comments in a timely manner
  • Analyzes analytics to gauge the success of campaigns and submit reports on a weekly/monthly basis
  • Suggest and develop ideas that aim to grow the follower base and enhance user engagement
  • Ensure uniformity and carry out the brand’s tone and content across all social media platforms
  • Build up brand awareness and expand social media presence and visibility

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Familiarity with handling different social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and TikTok
  • Basic understanding of social media trends
  • Knowledge of analytical tools
  • Highly creative and motivated
  • Open-minded in working collaboratively and has the willingness to learn new skills
  • A team player who exudes vibrance, with a positive and a go-getter attitude
  • With excellent time management, can multitask and work under pressure
  • Exemplary English proficiency in writing captions and responding to comments

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • A degree in Communication or a related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Prior experience in social media marketing is an advantage
  • Knowledge and experience in Photoshop, Adobe, and Canva are a plus
