This family run business, established in 2015 is located in the upmarket neighbourhood of Jumeirah 1.

Being a typical Aussie Café with a seating capacity of over 170 pax, we focus on the trending modern day breakfasts and all day dining. Boasting six prestigious awards including Dubai’s Best Breakfast and Best Independent Café; visits from royalty, celebs, coffee aficionado’s and loyal everyday diners - this café has made it’s mark and is home to many who have made it their Stomping Grounds!

with an annual rotating list of over 16 single origins (FYI - on any given day we usually have at least 3 different beans on the bar. A house blend or 2, along with 3 single origins in the espresso hoppers and filters and a Gesha.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare and serve great espresso and coffee drinks
  • Excellent knowledge of coffees, their origins, their flavours, notes and aromas, along with the various methods of brewing, preparation and presentation.:

  • Conduct scheduled Cupping, Brewing and Espresso Workshops.
  • Good latte art skills.
  • Actively work towards creating a superior Café experience through customer service, beverage preparation and presentation, in-store marketing and the upkeep and maintenance of coffee areas

Our IDEAL BARISTA should:

  • Have minimum three years experience working with specialty coffee and should be a certified barista.
  • Have plenty of cupping experience.
  • Be physically capable of working around 9 hours a day on your feet
  • Have sharp attention to detail
  • Have a love of coffee and thirst for knowledge with the ability to interact and share knowledge with customers.
  • Have excellent communication skills and charm in abundance, with excellent guest service skills
  • Have the ability to deal with immense pressure and work quickly whilst maintaining consistently high standards
  • Have demonstrative ability to work well within a team

COVID-19 considerations:
Must be vaccinated. Masks and gloves to be worn while on duty.
