Intern Graphic Designer

Our team is looking for a Graphic Design Intern to join them in the upcoming weeks. This position is great for an aspiring graphic design professional looking to work on business-critical projects and gain relevant work experience. You will work on different campaigns and projects and you must pay attention to details.

Profile

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to discuss any issues with a wide variety of individuals and groups
  • Capability to produce content on time, with attention to detail, and an emphasis on identifying and pitching to a target audience
  • A well-organized team player with the ability to perform various tasks, act individually, and think creatively
  • Familiarity with WordPress or CMS
  • Willingness to learn and develop graphic design skills
  • Competitive and proactive attitude
  • Create more robust, clearer, and more eye-catching designs by understanding how, why, and when to layout and compose documents
  • Skills with basic design software, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Use important principles of composition in your designs
  • Fluency in English

Critical Outputs

  • Social media and all digital platform management, development, and implementation.
  • Catalogue and marketing collateral design.
  • All required print and digital media design.
  • Create designs that are creative and dynamic for websites, print media,

product design, displays, and productions.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 / Matric
  • Degree or Diploma for Digital / Multimedia/ Web design
  • Adobe Suite ( Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Have excellent design and industry skills and knowledge.
  • Basic knowledge of Wireframe design
  • Basic or advance wordpress (CMS) skills
  • Conceptual/visual ability and originality with the ability to express creative ideas

Competencies:

  • Be creative, adaptable to trends, and conceptualise original ideas.
  • Have a strong, well-rounded portfolio that showcases your individual design aesthetic.
  • Good communication skills to accurately convey your concepts to clients and team members.

Job Type: Internship
Contract length: 6 months

Salary: R6,000.00 - R12,000.00 per month
