Currently we are searching for a Warehouse supervisor for Johannesburg, South Africa.
Responsibilities of this Post:
Ensure the Standard Operating Procedures relating to the management and control of inventory are known, understood, documented, in place, managed, and maintained.
Prepare daily delivery trips and supplier collections with drivers.
Managing the accuracy of stock received and dispatched out of the warehouse.
Checking of returned trip sheets and PODs.
Monitoring of health, safety and sanitation levels in the stores.
Issuing GRVs for stock returned for credit.
Measure FIFO stock rotation principle, obsolete stock as well as expired/non-moving stock.
Control and management of consumable packaging material.
Assisting with warehouse layout and identifying problem areas.
Requirements of this Post:
Matric.
Relevant tertiary qualification is advantageous.
Previous experience as a warehouse supervisor.
Time management skills and the ability to delegate.
Problem solving skills
Be hard working, driven, and goal orientated.
