Summary
The paymaster is responsible for the oversight of the payroll process as well as ensuring proper deductions and compliance with regards to processing payroll. The position will be responsible for semi weekly payroll processing, records of employment, benefit administration, letters of employment, filing into personnel files and assisting with hiring reference checks.
Qualifications:
The susscessful applicant should have
- post secondary school graduation in Accounting or Finance
- certified or in the process of obtaining certification as a Payroll Compliance Practitioner or a Certified Payroll Manager
- ecellent attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
