Job Summary:
- Mandatory to Have knowledge in Puma 800 Turnmill and also Doosan MultiAxis Machine.
Duties (Authority)
- To perform various functions, such as cutting, drilling, milling, reaming, and boring, utilizing knowledge of machine tool capabilities, machine ability of materials, shop math, inspecting parts to drawing requirements and troubleshooting malfunctions when necessary and reporting needed repairs.
Duties (Responsibility)
- Mounts, aligns, and secures tooling, attachments, and work piece on machine.
- Selects and installs cutting tools in machine spindle.
- Using the DNC, loads job programs into the machine control or enters commands to retrieve programmed instructions from the data base.
- Calculates and sets machine controls to position the spindle in relation to the work piece and to regulate factors, such as cutting depth, speed, feed and coolant flow.
- Operates machine and monitors displays and machine operation to detect malfunctions, change cutting tools and set up according to required machining sequence or to measure parts for conformance to blue print specifications, using precision measuring instruments.
- Discusses control media errors with foreman or programmer to resolve problems as well as documents the in-process inspection procedures in accordance with Quality Assurance Procedure
- Performs routine daily machine maintenance; fluid levels and etc.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Duties (Accountability)
- Review set up sheets and specifications to determine setup procedure, machining sequence and dimensions. Reads complex blueprints, bill of materials, and other specifications to determine product requirements.
Qualifications
- Education
Ø High school diploma or equivalent; certificate or diploma in engineering or relevant discipline is a plus
- Experience
Ø Minimum at least 3-year experience as CNC Milling Operator(UAE )
- Skills & Specialized knowledge
Ø Skill in operating CNC machinery and tooling as well as precision measurement tools
Ø Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings.
Ø Computer savvy with basic understanding of computer programming and CAD/CAM
Ø Mechanical aptitude and good math skills
Ø A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach
Ø Good communication abilities
