Purpose

To provide support to FM project teams both on and offshore

Functions

Below is a list of all the key functions to be delivered by the Fabric Maintenance Co-Ordinator.

  • Responsible in the preparation / delivery of the weekly / monthly progress reports.
  • Interface with the planning department on a weekly and monthly basis, providing progress updates along with manning requests.
  • Interface with planning department to ensure all FM and construction tasks are clearly visible within the 28 / 90 day plan.
  • Prepare full detailed work instructions / packs for all site FM and construction activities.
  • Retrieve project specific technical data from client’s library/documentation.
  • Maintain progress and work scope trackers.
  • Support and assist with any administrative requirements.
  • Attend client meetings with direction and support from the FM Lead Engineer, where appropriate
  • Liaise with client to coordinate quality checks and close out work to ensure efficient execution of FM work scopes

NON-ESSENTIAL

  • The list of job duties is not exclusive or exhaustive and the post holder will be required to undertake tasks that may reasonably be expected within the scope of the post
  • Carry out on and offshore site visits as and when required.
  • Assist with any other duties as and when required
  • Improve communication / coordination between on and offshore.

Ensure that the Safety policies and procedures are understood and adhered to, as far as is reasonably practicable in order to ensure a safe working environment.

Other

Carry out work in accordance with the Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems.

Perform the assigned tasks with due diligence regarding the Integrated Management Systems on the Company.

Eliminate waste of whatever form, to suggest the use of more environmentally friendly substances and practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the environment.

Supervisory Responsibilities
- This position has NO direct supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

  • Recognised coating inspection qualification from NACE or equivalent (P)
  • University degree Mechanical Engineering (P)
  • Recognised Management or Supervisory Qualification (P)
  • Good knowledge & experience with P&ID (drawings) and ability to markup specific areas / locations (P)
  • Must be willing to undergo further training as required (E)
  • Must have good understanding with Microsoft office software (E)
  • Experience with FM activities / rope access (E)
  • Professional training in AutoCAD (P)

Knowledge, Experience, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics

  • 5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas environment preparing workpacks for fabric maintenance (E)
  • Experience in related field or database administration (P)
  • Must be familiar with QA/QC systems and procedures (P)
  • Ability to co-ordinate teams on site to complete the scopes of work (E)
  • Able to work under own initiative with periodic supervisor guidance (E)
  • Ability to understand the concepts that originates the appropriate data (P)
  • Ability to plan work to attain goals set by deliverables (E)
  • Microsoft Office (E)
  • UAE driving license (E)
  • Good communicator both written, verbal and technical to make complex terminology simple for the benefit of others (E)

Working Conditions

This position is considered OFFICE WORK which is characterized as follows.
- Almost exclusively indoors during the day and occasionally at night
