What will you do?
Administration of Retirement Funds and maintenance of member level transactions across functional systems and functional areas within SEB Core.
Processing of switches according to the Life Stage model
Processing of member requests to switch his/her assets in a new selection of investment portfolios
Checking if switch requests are valid and verify if the portfolio options selected are valid
Determine if a switch request is costed or free
Verify member’s portfolio value before and after a switch was processed
Generate and verify switch letters before sending to the member
Building of excel files according to requirements
Supervision of and sign-off on correctness of administrator(s) processing, recording, reporting and related compliance matters.
Adhere to service level agreements. (Internal and external)
Adhere to internal controls and procedures in place.
Professional verbal and written communication and reporting to clients. (Internal and external)
A thorough understanding of and compliance with the Pension Fund Act, Fund Rules and Income Tax Act and any other relevant legislative requirements.
Investigate, resolve and respond to ad hoc operational requirements, internal and external. (Verbal and in writing)
Identify and inform Management of any issues. (Escalation)
Handle all internal and external client requests and enquiries in a professional manner.
Monitor the work management system and escalate critical incidents/workflows.
Foster and maintain the relationship with internal departments e.g. Internal auditors Fund accounting, Legal.
Provide Team Leader with input on the team members training needs on business processes and systems.
Identify gaps in team training, development needs and ensure that the team members are adequately trained on business processes and systems.
Assist with testing on system of new functionalities
Effectively manage and coordinate the daily workloads and work functions of a Small team.
Inspiring and motivating team members with regular encouragement, keeping team enthusiasm going
Manage work performance of team members and identifying areas that need improvement
Conduct performance reviews and performance management process
Dealing with complexity, analysing information and perform unitisation calculations

Qualifications and experience
Grade 12 with Maths
4 to 6 years Employee Benefits experience.
Experience in leading a team
Knowledge of member investment switches and Life stage model switches
Knowledge of unitisation investment funds
