Position Description
We currently have an exciting role for an experienced Excavator Operator to join our Kingston location.
Position Responsibilities
- Inspect heavy equipment prior to use to ensure that mechanical and safety systems are in good working order
- Safely operate excavator to company and industry standard.
- Secure special attachments to equipment
- Ensure proper loading and unloading waste/material.
- Perform basic machine adjustments, maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs.
- Maintain Logbooks according to rules and regulations.
- Additional duties may be required.
Qualifications
- 3 - 5 years experience operating an excavator.
- Experience with other equipment (dozer, skid steer, etc.) considered an asset.
- Valid G class license
- Experience in waste is considered an asset
- Must have their own safety footwear
- Exceptional work ethic
