Purpose

To set us up for the win, we are seeking an experienced and results-driven HR business partner to align our HR initiatives and functions with the organizational objectives and needs. Your experience in human resources management will aid our organization in adding value to overall business objectives, providing HR solutions, resolving grievances, retaining a talented workforce, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

We Do The Right Things - Responsibilities of the Role

  • Forms effective relationships and consults with manager and employee, providing guidance when appropriate. Typically supports first level managers through director-level; may support VP/SVP depending on organizational structure.
  • Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the centralized HR teams to develop solutions and programs. Provides input into the overall People agenda.
  • Manage and resolve employee relations issues. May participate or inform plan for effective, thorough and objective investigations. Analyzes and surfaces related trends.
  • Maintains knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing risks and ensuring compliance. Escalates cases for more senior guidance and input as needed/required.
  • Works closely with managers and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Serve as the first port of contact for the business in all people-related queries. Although always maintaining a solutions-oriented approach to bring conclusion quickly, ensure other HR team members are consulted and partnered with where relevant.
  • Partners with colleagues globally to ensure a vibrant and effective workplace.
  • Implement various HR programs designed by the centralized HR teams
  • Provides input on org restructures, compensation reviews, and succession planning.

Requirements:
We Are On A Learning Journey - Requirements of the Role

  • Degree in human resources management.
  • Work Experience
  • 5-8 years’ experience as an HR business partner.
  • Experience sourcing and utilizing HR metrics and reports.
  • Demonstrated discretion and sound judgment while working with sensitive and confidential materials.
  • Experience working with Global Talent (Americas in particular) strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge and Abilities
  • Full understanding of all HR functions (recruiting, employee relations, people operations, compensation, benefits, and organizational development) and best practices.
  • Comfortable using technology, including MS Teams and BambooHR.
  • Effective verbal and written communications.
  • Passion for results; able to deliver full-cycle projects (start to finish) and results in a timely manner.
  • A team player who acts with a sense of urgency and adapts to a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
  • Ability to solve moderate to complex problems; resourceful and takes initiative to seek internal and external resources when problem-solving.
  • Very strong EQ, with fine-tuned instincts and problem-solving skills.
  • Analytical skills and highly organized.
  • Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
  • Meticulous attention to details.
  • Thorough knowledge of labor legislation.
