Assist the Warehouse Management in maintaining the smooth operation of a fastmoving operational environment
- Responsible for the day-to-day management of people within the Warehouse and ensure that the company's targets and objectives are met.
- Ensuring that the staff in the Warehouse comply with Health, Safety and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Responsible for housekeeping standards and continuous improvement within the warehouse
- Provide a safe working environment, adhering to Health and Safety and Environmental procedures
- Ensuring that the staff in the Warehouse comply with Health, Safety and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Ensure orders are processed efficiently and that the pulling and packing meets daily requirements
- Supervise and control the pulling of orders packing of orders, ensure accuracy with minimum handling and stock damage
- Ensure that all the returns are inspected for Quality Control before allowing to be processed into the pulling area
- Sort the returns in a controlled environment to ensure Q/C and minimise handling and damage
- Ensure a proper preparation and Stock Take (W/H 10) at the end of each month
- Ensure that all relevant procedures and processes are followed and adhered to in line with Company's procedures and requirements
- Ensure that the internal pulling and packing and security process are adhered to support the transport loading and despatch schedule
- Ensure that all security procedures with regard to shrinkage in the warehouse is strictly adhered to
- Ensure that a daily inspection of the Warehouse covering housekeeping and Health and Safety is enforced and documented
- Resolve customer and warehouse queries
- Supervise the collection of invoices, stock adjustments, marketing literature from Admin and Marketing
- Ensure that all requests for making up of SAMPLE KITS and other such requests are done efficiently and on time
- Ensure that the SALES AID section as well as the BODY TONIC section is always supervised according to instruction
- Ensure the collection of invoices, stock adjustments, marketing literature from Admin and Marketing as well as requests from the General Office
- Supervise and control any movement between the Office and the Warehouse as well as any movement within the Warehouse
- Ensure that the Opening and Closing of the Warehouse and Office Block is processed efficiently and securely when required to do so
- Ensure that the stacking certificate you hold is up to date and that all the training you have had is adhered to in terms of the OHS act
- Monitor and maintain stock accuracy making sure that the physical stock is in line with the computer management system
- Record all breakages within the warehouse environment
- Monitor Bulk stock levels in the warehouse and ensure that the pulling bays are always properly replenished
- Replenish and rework Pallets of stock into workable condition to ensure minimum capacity in your section
- Ensure that the Stock Takes required by process are organised and accurate and on time to present a proper count
- Liaise with the Computer stock controller on all stock control, adjustments and queries
- Ensure that the Warehouse is clean and clear of any clutter
- Planning, managing and adjusting staff levels to meet daily operational requirements in the Warehouse
- Support and comply with all Health and Safety regulations, Environmental standards and all Company policies and procedures
- Build a team environment and a team atmosphere by working with the team and understanding all aspects of good management
- Maintain a coaching and training policy to ensure that employees are adequately trained and competent in their role.
- Plan, manage and adjust staff levels to meet daily operational requirements within your section
- Lead and motivate your team in a manner that is responsible and fair.
Ensures that Racking and Stacking comply with the Health and Safety requirements
Salary: R13,000.00 - R14,000.00 per month

Experience:
- warehouse: 5 years (preferred)
