Bdr Manager

What you'll be doing:

  • Ongoing development of the Business Development Representatives (BDR) Team, which includes recruiting, hiring, and training new representatives on the Affinity process.
  • Lead a team of 8-10 entry-level outbound sales reps responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and sourcing the top of the funnel for new business.
  • Evolve lead gen process and derive insights and ideas from sales activities via data-driven analysis.
  • Conduct weekly activity review meetings and coaching for direct reports on tactics.
  • Report on team activity and forecast to senior sales management.
  • Monitor activity of the team and track results.
  • Work with and manage a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly quota.
  • Maintain high morale while still pushing for high performance: creative incentives/awards, run contests, plan team bonding events.

Qualifications:
Required

  • 5 years+ of inside sales management experience, including leading a lead generation team
  • You have worked at a startup or high-growth company experience that has scaled.
  • Proven record of success in a high-volume transactional sales environment
  • Experience hiring top talent with a proven track record
  • Experience managing remote teams
  • Experience selling/managing SaaS Software
  • Solid understanding of different CRM solutions, and utilization of modern sales tools and methodologies
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritizes, and manage time effectively
  • A demonstrated drive for achievement
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment
  • Minimum 4-year bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university

Bonus points for:

  • Strong understanding of the financial services industry and/or selling into large corporations.
