Nintendo Kiosk - Supervisor

SUMMARY:
CORE DUTIES:

  • Develop exceptional knowledge of Nintendo products (hardware, games, accessories and digital business), as well as key 3rd party products available for Nintendo systems.
  • Successfully manage, motivate and delegate to a team of 4-6 people.
  • Manage all key day-to-day tasks at the Kiosk (merchandising, POS procedures, cash-drops, reporting, inventory receiving/adjustments, order requests, etc.)
  • Leverage your experiences with consumers and get a keen sense of what they want to see for sale (on-the-job research)
  • Use enthusiasm to encourage consumers to sample our products and be focused on selling our licensed products to consumers
  • Go out of your way to provide ‘wow’ experiences for consumers (pictures with Mario statue, finding hard to get items, special demos/requests)
  • Maintain a curious attitude to identify competitive initiatives and positioning
  • Ensure visual dominance of product and proper merchandising of displays
  • Consistent communication with supervisor outlining needs, concerns, recommendations, etc.
  • Work closely with the Supervisor, Brand Experience, and the Sr. Manager to collaborate, brainstorm, plan and/or execute kiosk events and launch plans
  • Provide clear and concise comments and pertinent sales information in weekly comments report. We’ll also need weekly “Insight Reporting” from you and your staff. By observing consumer behavior and shopping patterns, you can provide actionable insights to help improve the Kiosk process.
  • Maintain and repair Kiosk on a daily basis.
  • Be available for the rare occasions outside of work hours to communicate with staff and corporate.

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:

  • 4+ years of experience working in a retail sales or event environment
  • Has spent several years playing video games beyond a “casual” level
  • A driver’s license in good standing
  • Computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office, Word and Excel

  • Post-Secondary School Education
