Store Associate/ Barista

KITS Store Associates create memorable and lasting first impressions of our store and brand; going out of their way to provide exceptional, meticulous and unforgettable customer experiences across both the optical department and cafe.
What You’ll Do
Create a warm, welcoming environment for all visitors Represent the KITS brand and company core values Help customers navigate the optical, cafe and retail departments Develop and nurture relationships with repeat customers Hold thorough brand and product knowledge Keep up to date knowledge of our cafe food and beverage menu Check out guest payments through our POS system Style customers with prescription glasses and sunglasses, answer questions and assist with online or in-store orders Collaborate with the Marketing and Product team for visual displays and store events
(visual merchandising, product launches, brand events) Prepare and serve espresso and tea drinks when the store is busy (training is provided) Clean and restock and sanitize retail and optical areas Opening and Closing Duties when on assigned shifts Take inventory and replenish items in display cases, at tables, or behind the counter Champion the brand and products Observe relevant health and safety standards and maintain a clean and professional environment Be flexible to work peak hours including nights, early mornings, weekends and holidays Other duties as assigned by Assistant Manager or General Manager
Who You Are
Outgoing, engaging and motivated individual with a passion for customer service.Previous hospitality experience is an asset. Bonus if you have Food Safe Level 1 and barista experience.
Shifts are typically eight (8) hours but exceptions can be made for school and other commitments.

Starting hourly wage is $18 per hour One Free Pair of glasses per year Discounts on Food, Beverages and Merchandise All the coffee and tea you want on shift
