POSITION - AREA MANAGER (KwaZulu-Natal)
REPORT TO - REGIONAL MANAGER / OPS MANAGER
BASED IN - KWAZULU-NATAL
WORK HOURS - BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS
BENEFITS - BASIC + PERFORMANCE BONUS + COMMISSION + PROVIDENT FUND (AFTER 6 MONTHS)
Leading Telecommunications Service and Solutions provider for Mobile and Fixed Line Products.
Our Franchise Services Telkom Retail Stores situated in KZN,WC and NC.
The core purpose of the position is the overall management of the day to day operations and working closely with the Retail Management team within our retail stores in the Western Cape and to ensure store profitability through the achievement of sales and service targets, customer service excellence and employee engagement.
Role Responsibilities
- Retail Sales Management
- Retail Financial Management
- Retail Stock Management - Forecast and order store stock requirements
- Customer Experience Management
- Retail Operations Management - Identify continuous improvements within the store
- People Management - Managing a team of 25+ retail staff including recruiting, coaching, KPI’s
- Performance Management - Manage and achieve sales targets
Manage store marketing, branding and promotions - Manage relationships with handset manufacturers
- Manage operations in store, liaise with Regional Manager/Ops Manager
- Senior Management Reporting
Experience:
- Minimum 3 Years Manager experience
Special Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and access to own transport will be advantage.
- Must be able to work on certain Saturday and Sundays.
- Knowledge of the Telkom Products, Services and Systems will be advantage
