Job Requirements: Grade 12 or equivalent. Registered Assessor and Moderator will be an advantage. Train-the-trainer / Facilitator qualification and experience an advantage. Certificate in Professional Driving an advantage. Knowledge of K53 driving system. Valid Code C, EC1,04, and EC drivers license. Valid PrDP for Goods and Passengers. 3 years previous driver training experience. Fluent and proficient in English, additional African languages will be an advantage. Qualified professional driver with at least 3 years driving experience in passenger transport.
Job Outputs: Conduct pre
- employment driving assessments on new driver applicants. Conduct training on all new drivers including Refresher training on existing drivers. Facilitate training on the new registered Unit Standards for Learnerships and existing Drivers. Conduct Assessments and Evaluations. Conduct Refresher and Remedial training on all Drivers. Ensure administration records are done and kept accordance with the Quality Management Systems. Perform road patrols and conduct on the spot training on Drivers. Organise the orientation of all new drivers on the operational routes and vehicles of the Business Unit. Monitor the progress of new drivers and Learnerships while on practical training at the Business Units. Investigate accident scenes and assist drivers with accident reports. Maintain close contact with Drivers/ Supervisors and the Technical department. Administration of log books and attendance registers for trainee Drivers. Ensure the trainers and learners adhere to the company health and safety standards and requirements. Ensure that all accident and Incidents are reported promptly in accordance with company policy and procedures.
