Requirements:




  • 3 years’ Degree or equivalent in HR/IR/LLB or related field

  • At least 2 years’ experience in Industrial Relations and Litigation

  • 6+ years’ experience in an HR/IR management position

  • Large/complex union negotiations
    *:

  • Multi-union experience

  • Ability to effectively interact with all staff at all levels to sort out any labor issues.





Industrial Relations




  • Ensure disciplinary code is implemented fairly.

  • Handle potential IR queries/problems before it causes dissent.

  • Ensure an effective IR climate prevails with fair practices in the regions.

  • Provide Line Management with effective and latest IR advice.
    *:

  • Represent the company at CCMA & Labour Court when required.

  • Facilitate management\shop stewards’ meetings in the regions\company
    *:

  • Responsible for handling and resolving of staff grievances (salary and wages)

  • Implementation of the industrial action plan

  • Wage negotiations
