Requirements:
3 years’ Degree or equivalent in HR/IR/LLB or related field
*:At least 2 years’ experience in Industrial Relations and Litigation
*:6+ years’ experience in an HR/IR management position
*:Large/complex union negotiations
*:Multi-union experience
*:**Formulation of medium
and long-term IR strategy*
**:Behavioral and cultural change experience
*:Ability to effectively interact with all staff at all levels to sort out any labor issues.
Industrial Relations
Ensure disciplinary code is implemented fairly.
*:Handle potential IR queries/problems before it causes dissent.
*:Ensure an effective IR climate prevails with fair practices in the regions.
*:Provide Line Management with effective and latest IR advice.
*:Represent the company at CCMA & Labour Court when required.
*:Facilitate management\shop stewards’ meetings in the regions\company
*:Responsible for handling and resolving of staff grievances (salary and wages)
*:Implementation of the industrial action plan
*:Wage negotiations
*:Strike Management
*:**Retrenchments
