JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Management of the Assets processes
  • Interaction with internal and external stakeholders when it comes to movement of Assets and ensured that necessary documentation of forms are completed
  • Update and Maintained Asset register, ensured Quarterly/Annually stock take and Disposal of Assets
  • Facilitate and coordinating timeous Bar-coding of Assets
  • Maintenance and Safeguarding of Assets
  • Conduct quarterly spot checks and annual Asset Verification
  • Report all the loss of Assets
  • Ensuring that replenishment of stock is in line with procurement regulations
  • Identify redundant and obsolete stock
  • Collect and receive goods from the Suppliers

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications:
Applicants must be in a possession of a grade 12 Certificate. Job related knowledge: Knowledge of supply Chain Management. Knowledge of Treasury regulations.

Knowledge of Government stores policies.

Job related skills: Computer literacy.
