We need our surveyor to be versatile, enthusiastic to work in highly flexible, team-oriented environment and who have exceptional communication, analytical and leadership skills. In this role you will (supervises/carries) out field surveys, assisted by a chainman. Education and over 10 years of experience in surveying is required for the position.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Manager in carrying out the field surveys.
  • Advising Project Manager of necessity of overtime to meet project milestones.
  • Liaise with other agencies (Consultants/Contractors) to coordinate the survey work.
  • Prepare neat sketches to support the field work.
  • Preserve all the survey information (field books, sketches & calculations).
  • Complete all surveying assignments on schedule and within man-hour and cost budgets.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or related field)
10+ years of related field engineering experience, or a broad general surveying background is required
Professional registration may also be required
Potential to perform in a lead capacity
Excellent written and oral communications skills
Familiarity of industry practices and regulations are required
