Reporting to the Training Manager, the Training Assistant will be responsible for providing training support to Payless Shoesource Stores, Head Office and Warehouse by facilitating training programs and assisting in designing and developing training modules.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- To conduct training needs analysis with the scope of operational and technical.
- To design and develop learning materials based on the existing business process manual/outline
Preparation of the following:
- Devise workflows applicable to the learning participants
- Creating training modules and assessing methodologies to use
- Identifying the type of training if synchronous or asynchronous
- Organizing list of participants, training guides, google classroom and other resources
- Arranging pre requisite and the implementation of a training function.
- Evaluating the effectiveness of the learning program
- Other tasks
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Science, Psychology, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Workplace Learning and Performance or related field.
Work Experience (During internships, volunteer work, part time jobs, or others)
- Competent in Google Suite (Slides, Meet, Classroom, Sites and etc.).
- Outstanding and confident in presenting or facilitating in a group.
- Knowledge of instructional design and training methodologies.
- He/she must be able to work both independently and as part of a team, and have demonstrated success managing multiple areas of responsibility at once.
- The individual must have strong attention to detail, creativity, and decision making skills.
- Comfortable providing direct feedback or coaching to individuals.
