Show Coordinator for a Costume Production House

Overview of the Costume Coordinator Position:
We are seeking a Costume Coordinator who is creative in both a business and an artistic sense with the primary focus on the rentals theatre department at Theatrix Costume House. The Costume Coordinator is expected to provide excellent customer service to accounts, as well as represent client needs and goals within the organization to ensure quality service. Knowledge in costume history and musical shows is a requirement of the show coordinator's position.

Costume Coordinator Qualifications:
1. Must be informed in costume history (and theatre) and musical shows and current artistic trends

1. Knowledge of theatre productions operations and procedures

2. Knowledge of principles, practices and techniques of costume construction

Show Coordinator Assets:
1. Extremely detail oriented

1. Motivated, and an enthusiastic leader and team player with a positive attitude

2. High level of initiative and works well in a team environment

3. Excellent written and oral communication skills

4. Handles stressful situations and deadlines

5. Plans and carries out responsibilities with mínimal direction

Salary: From $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

Experience:

• Performing Arts: 3 years (required)
• Theatre and historical costuming: 3 years (preferred)
