Translator

Responsibilities- Writing and editing copies

• Convert text from one language to one or more others
• Ensure translated content conveys original meaning and tone
• Cross reference specialized dictionaries and translation tools to check quality of translation
• Proofread translated texts for grammar, spelling and punctuation accuracy
• Requirements- Proven work experience as a Translator, Interpreter or similar role
• Ability to work with dealines
• Excellent proofreading skills with the ability to identify grammar, spelling and punctuation errors
• A clear writing style with an impeccable knowledge of spelling and grammar
• Attention to detail
• Fluency in English
• Fluent in Mandarin is advantages
• Good knowledge of content editing tools
• Familiar with translation software
• Can-do attituden and have time management skills
