- Provide management services relating to the maintenance of equipment and machinery used at M&RC’s site as well as construction work
- Employee Capacity Building and Performance Management
- Support the project work to enable target achievement
- Ensuring that working conditions are maintained to a high and acceptable standard
- Building a strong motivated team
- Achieving and where possible, exceeding monthly production targets
Qualifications and Experience:
- Grade 12 or NQF 4 equivalent
- Section 26 Electrical Trade Certificate / MIETTB Trade Certificate through a registered body
- Valid First Aid Certificate
- Engineering Foreman Certificate of Competence or proof of formal Supervisory training in Planning, Leading, Organising and Control
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point & MS Projects)
- At least 5 years’ practical experience as an Artisan Fitter/Electrician in a mining environment, appointed in a legal position
- At least 2 years’ experience acting on a supervisory level as an Engineering Foreman
