Duties & Responsibilites
In charge of vessel and responsible for safety and well-being of the clients and crew
Ensure that at all times their vessel is in a safe and seaworthy condition. If not management must be notified.
Responsible for the maintenance of the vessel.
Skippers are required to secure vessels safely to the wharf, jetty or mooring and ensure the vessel is left in secure state
Cooperate with Barge Master/Project Staff(while at Project)
Maintain housekeeping at all time
Safety Responsibilities
Familiarize with the Company Safety Policy and take all reasonable care to ensure the health and safety of themselves and persons likely to be affected by their acts or omissions, as required under Company policies, procedures and local legislation
Job Requirements
Minimum 2 years’ experience
Possess manning licence
Familiar with navigation of local waters and anchor handling
