Responsibilities:
JOB OVERALL PURPOSE
- Primary responsibilities include but not limited to overseeing overall projects development and construction from the design phase through construction and completion. These aspects include design concept implementation, coordination of design development from conceptual phase to implementation phase taking into consideration the buildability and methodology, and ensuring each stages of construction from awards and procurement to inspections and handing over is timely executed.
- The Deputy Project Manager, Construction is expected to manage the day-to-day operational aspects of multiple or large scale projects and exercise a high level of independent judgment in the conduct of business responsibility with mínimal supervision.
- JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Project Development and Construction
- Assist senior project managers/project managers with the management and administration of project construction and development, and to guide the site team to overall project completion and objectives.
- To execute the construction process of the projects assigned by managing the project progress, timeline, quality and cost by effective controlling of manpower and materials.
- To coordinate project planning, development and subsequent construction matters include liaison with various departmental staff and Management for the confirmation of Design Concept, Project Specifications, Construction Specification and methodology etc.
- To ensure and work with QS department to ensure timely appointment of subcontractors or procurement for varies trades, services, materials or equipment.
- To coordinate and monitor Project Consultants’ design work progress, monitoring of submission to and approval by local authorities.
- To develop and submit progress status reports tracking work progress, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
- To proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
- To manage, coordinate VP processes and defects related matters during Handover and Defects Liability Period.
- To conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
- Act on behalf of Senior Project Managers/Project Managers in their absence.Benefits:
