JOB TITLE: CMI Manager - Hair Brands
LOCATION: Singapore
MAIN JOB PURPOSE & BUSINESS CONTEXT
This is a strategic and operational brands leadership role within Unilever’s 10bn Euros Business Group of Beauty & Wellbeing. The new BG strategy is focused on Brands led growth, Channels first, with heightened focus on local market relevance, scaled, particularly in developing & emerging markets. Unilever Hair Brands include a wide portfolio of household hair beauty icons such as Sunsilk, Creamsilk, Clear, Dove and Tresemme, with ambitious plans for them to leapfrog the next beauty generation, brand crafting, market development and operational excellence in Asia. This role will be a cornerstone of the Hair Brands Insight Leadership team across the world, with particular emphasis on partnering and leading Sunsilk and Dove Hair in South East Asia.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Being a data driven, full funnel CMI partner, rapidly experimenting & engaging
- Working with Hair Brands teams to define and realise new brand & portfolio opportunities
- Working end to end to fuel insights across all innovation strategy, mix development & brand experience initiatives across touchpoints
- Being a growth agent for the Hair business by being on the pulse of shifting consumer & customer needs, trends & inspiration as well as competitive performance and advantage
- Driving a virtuous cycle of insights from performance tracking to sharpen brand jobs to be done and mix/comms development alike
- Accelerate relevant purpose, digital marketing, DComm and channel/retailer advantage for Sunsilk and Dove Hair in Asia, with emphasis on South East Asia and collaboration with China & India
- Build the next frontier of locally culturally relevant + potentially globally transferrable propositions, architectures, market development and routes to market for our brands in Asia
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of CMI/research experience
- Global experience/worked on a global brand
- Experience in/ appreciation of both innovation and engagement projects
- Ability to spot & articulate real insights with simplicity and storytelling
- Experience with the digital world/are digital native, digital marketing best practices and its implications for brands/business from digital content to influencer marketing to DComm innovation
- Innovation experience, knowing the principles of growth hacking and performance marketing and core tenants
