What is a Commercial Sales Development Representative at Talkdesk?

As an SDR at Talkdesk, you will take ownership of generating pipeline and be responsible for approaching companies with 351 employees or less that are aligned to your region.

As a Commercial SDR at Talkdesk, you will

  • Conduct daily cold-calling and online lead generation activities, to meet and exceed KPI's, as set by the Sales Development Manager, as well as managing inbound leads from prospective clients
  • Manage commercial prospects through the funnel from lead generation through to demos, with the ability to articulate value proposition, navigate objections and foster relationships
  • Work closely with the entire sales organisation to accelerate the sales cycle and to extend our reach into target commercial accounts
  • Fully-understand, articulate and sell all Talkdesk products & services
  • Work collaboratively with the Talkdesk Village, attending regular company meet-ups and events, to reach our common goal!
  • Develop and share best practices and experiences amongst peers
  • Be required to provide accurate forecasting
  • Be supporting up to 4 commercial AE's.

What we are looking for

  • Based in Singapore remote, with the option to work with your team in an office environment
  • Someone who will adopt and embrace the Talkdesk mission and vision
  • Desire for continuous learning, improvement and overall career growth
  • Proven track record achieving measurable sales/ customer service targets in an sales environment
  • Comfortable spending the majority of the workday on the phone or presenting web-based demos to prospect contacts at all levels of the organisation (Analysts, Managers, Directors, VPs and C-level Executives)
  • Ability to build successful client relationships, be comfortable in a B2B sales environment and overcome blockers over the phone
  • Highly organised professional with a strong work ethic
  • Quick to scale up and onboard
  • Have a desire to succeed along with clear goals and objectives
