Role Mission: *
To learn, grow and develop your skills and competencies as a Cyber Security practitioner - defining your own journey by experiencing and participating in the delivery of a variety of Advantio’s capabilities:

  • Managed Detection and Response
  • SOC, vulnerability scanning and protective monitoring

Key Responsibilities:

  • Begin growing your cyber security skills and competencies within a wider team - get to know industry standards, best practice, and soak up the experience of our mentors.
  • Support other team members, by participating in challenging but rewarding information/cyber security projects.
  • Assist with analysis, documentation, and remediation actions in response to audit or vulnerability assessment findings.
  • Participates in discussions around vulnerabilities and customer finding

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Familiarity of Linux and Microsoft products.
  • Basic knowledge of computer networks (Firewall, Switch, router, OSI model, etc.).
  • Fluency in both verbal and written English.
  • Basic technical knowledge of information security, and cloud environments.
  • Preferred: Pursuing and/or holds a Degree level qualification in Computer Science, IT, Cyber Security, or a related field.
  • Preferred: Programming Languages, Databases (SQL), virtual machines, networking, etc.
  • Preferred: Understanding of the PCI family of standards.
