We are looking for talents who are passionate about working on enabling quantum technologies, with expertise in programming FPGA for complicated Digital Signal Process (DSP) and other relevant hardware interfaces using Verilog programming language for controlling and actuating trailblazing quantum sensing and quantum information processing technologies developed by Anyon Technologies.
The core part of the job is to develop and deploy DSP with FPGA to generate pulses with arbitrary amplitude modulations at a specific carrier frequency using high-speed DACs and synchronously digitize incoming signals (using high-speed ADCs) at the carrier frequency followed by digital demodulation. The digitized data stream will be further used in real-time data-processing processes for real-time feedback actuation of pulses and other controls. We will start with FPGA/DAC/ADC development boards to produce discrete prototypes that can carry out the desired workloads and sequentially integrate the system onto custom PCBs and eventually ASICs for high-density system feedback controls.
Job Requirements
- Microwave PCB design and soldering
- HDL/Verilog programming: Low-level real-time routines
- C++/Python programming: High-level data processing and human interface.
- Microwave signal processing and engineering (IQ-mixing, IF/RF modulation/demodulation, signal filtering/amplification, PLL, Synchronization)
Qualification
- Experience: Relevant academic/industry R&D experience
- Education: Undergrad/Master/PhD in Electrical Engineering or other relevant Applied Sciences
