ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The role of a General Laborer is responsible for receiving and shipping duties throughout the warehouse, stock replenishment, as well as supply distribution.

PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Retrieving overstock from pallet locations and stocking shelves and bunks when needed - point person for replenishment team to retrieve overstock
  • Preparing freight for outbound shipment by sorting, palletizing, labeling, shrink wrapping, manifesting and any additional paperwork required
  • Loading of outbound freight and unloading of inbound freight
  • Quantity and carton counts against shipping Bill of Lading’s vs. actually received, ensuring pallet and carton count are accurate and recorded
  • Signing for deliveries, noting any discrepancies and communicating to the Logistics Manager
  • Using a skid jack to move skids around the warehouse
  • Use of bailer as needed
  • Distribute store supplies
  • Keep work area clean, safe, and organized at all times and follow cleaning schedule as communicated by your Supervisor
  • Additional tasks and duties specified by Warehouse Operations Manager or Director of Logistics including (but not limited to) assisting in other departments (Damages/Defects, Replenishments, Warehousing, etc.), minor repairs or maintenance, cleaning duties, or administrative work

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Salary: From $15.50 per hour
